Love

Mike D Johnson 1954 (Tallahassee, Fl)

Love

By Mike D Johnson

It is expressed in many ways, not one of them the most.
It endures the length of days, it does not brag or boast.
It does not envy or cause harm. It's kind beyond compare.
It gives no reason for alarm because it's always there.
It comforts, calms and compensates if sometimes we fall short.
It won't belittle or berate or make an ill retort.
It makes you feel like you are worth as much as anyone.
It nourishes and gives birth to awe inspired fun
It stays with you through thick and thin. It will not leave you flat.
There's nothing else in this whole world that can compare to that.
