The World’s Leaders

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

All the world’s leaders have come to naught.
Their speeches and promises don’t mean a lot.
The way that they lie and control is an art.
Though they still kill each other; as they have from the start.

The men of the earth seek out leaders with power.
But they don’t know the Truth so they last just an hour.
The Truth is not something you can touch or can see.
It’s the Spirit of God; who lives, deep inside of me!

Ignorance is bliss I’ve heard people say;
Still they walk in the knowledge of the world every day.
The Spirit that lives in me points to Jesus!
Who doesn’t want to destroy us, but instead just to seize us.

The knowledge of good and evil causes death.
So where will you be on the right or the left?
God wants you on the right, so His Son can then save us!
Satan wants you on the left, so that God will destroy us.
