Infatuated dream

There is a time
Before we wake
A time lost between night and day
This time is filled
With fantasy
A place for the soft dreams to stay
And this is where
I hold you close
I wrap my arms around your waist
And for a time
I live my dream
As part of your love I get to taste
And just before
I must awake
I turned to ask you how you feel

But when the sun
In jealous rage
Blazes hot to awaken me
