Oppressed

Tethered, Ensnared.
A captive to pain
Stuck in an endless pattern of misery,
Its invisible bonds wrapping around my neck.
The noose of misery,
suffocating, drowning, dying
no hope of salvation,
My will to live vanished.
constantly oppressed by the ache of life.
Chained to the cruel cycle of despair,
Left being weighed down by my own existence,
desperate to break free of the pain and suffering
Longing to escape the tight grip of this viciousness,
to break away and start anew,
to cast aside these chains that hold me captive
Hunted, targeted
Trapped endlessly as prey,
to anguish, pain, and anxiety
I desire to rise above this oppression.
to be free and reach a place of solace
I pray for a way out of this prison.
an escape from the unending suffering I have come to know
But those desires and prayers are left unanswered.
I am condemned to this prison,
and I have resigned myself to my suffering
I've been robbed of the joy that I should be entitled to.
I’m Oppressed
