Be

Candida Bailey 1982 (Houma, Louisiana)

Be a light in the dark room
Be joy in a toxic gloom
Be hope in a valley of Doom
Be an excape when facing the tomb

Be change when stuck in the past
Be a friend that will always last
Be a doctor when in need of a cast

Be colorful when the world only sees grey
Be a path to the ones who lost the way

Be love in a world full of hate
Be a key to open the gate
Be present when called to your fate

Be a smile for eyes filled with tears
Be a memory for the one forgetting the years
Be more when they feel there's nothing left
Be the answers when life is giving a test
Be kind and helpful always
