Wintertime Sadness

Wintertime sadness

My heart beats; I love winter.
A day won't end without a hot coffee.
I won't lie down without my romance novels.
Sitting in front of the fireplace feels like walking in an aisle,
The fire looks like my love.
Bright flames look like dancing on prom night,
The wind blows like a sorrowful melody.
Now I'm scared and feel alone, and I don't know why?
Winter should be fun, but it's not anymore.
It's time for wintertime sadness.

About this poem

Winter is the time for hot coffee and a good book, and it's a time for a good old romance, the cold climate is where you can enjoy with your loved one and you can feel so warm with your loved one, but I'm single so I described everything is good and is cold outside so I'm setting in a fireplace feeling so warm, suddenly the fire slows down and when I hear the winds blow I feel so scary and alone so the happy winter turns out a 'wintertime Sadness'
