Wildflowers

Riding on the wind
Floating through the sky
Earth is sighing, singing hymns
In a world where flowers never die

Wishing on a dandelion
Change the future, not the past
Fragile, thinnest hair scattering
Maybe this time, hope will last

Storm on the horizon
But we can just turn away
It'll be alright
Inside these mountains whispering our name

I took you to this secret home
I see it in your eyes
You need a place where everything lives
Lives apart from time

Immortal wildflowers
They always pull you in
Sweet scents that lasts forever
Makes sure that hearts won’t dim

About this poem
