The Echos of Fall

The echos of fall in November,
recall a glimpse of the splendor,
of glistening hues and spectacular views,
A precious moment to remember.

Contrast enhances the vexing air,
Of biting winds and a balmy breeze,
Fleeting foes in a mid-western clime,
Dealing dialect in a micro-blast of time.

Does it birth the view of the stoic,
Taking all of nature’s offer,
The soft and the hard,
By necessity bound,
The fullness of life one has found?

The smoky sweet fragrance of a campfire burning,
The cozy warm feeling of its radiance,
learning
The matter of fact,
in August it lacks,
the sublime experience in November.

As the pictured leaves fall to the ground,
its beauty so striking and fleeting,
a revealing view through the stark naked timber,
emerges,
a landscape once cloaked,
its spirit awoke,
A new look of a solar glory.

I yearn for a springtime of rebirth,
A summer full of fun,
Autumnal bliss,
And winter’s stinging kiss.
