I heard your voice today in the harsh wind something inside me froze                                       my heart felt heavy and tears began to flow         as if it was freezing rain on the snow                          I closed my eyes and whispered not today.                 I felt  you as the chills ran through me                       I felt the distance as if you were near                     the emptiness of your love echoed through my mind                                                                             just as it had when you left me behind and I cry alone and I don’t want to do this today.                                     not today.                                                                              Memories of our past haunts me                                     This abuse never ends.                                                    There are no bruises only scars.                                    How do you hurt me through these bars.    Not today I cannot today
