Monsters

It’s seems to me the monsters get to stay, “thrive”.. breathe, while the angels amongst us are forced to endure pain/ suffering or to leave us flying high in the sky. Too soon.. Too quick. Unfair.  Twisted bitter ends all around. This world we must live in.. Darkness steals the Lights’ shine so it can thrive in- spite, spreading its destruction like a chameleon of the night. They know how to speak well, to blend and pretend. Snakes they are. They strike you with a smile on their lips. Their venom can be lethal, but I found my antidote. One must see them for what they are and not the mask they use for a cloak. Nor let the words they hiss or speak manipulate you into outsmarting your wit. I know…. They’re so very convincingly cunning and that’s no joke… it should be a sin. Monsters, they’re everywhere. I met one or so. Surviving one is scary. If you manage to at all… You’re a lucky soul. If you do succeed to get away…. My only suggestion is sweet one; is to never look back and For the life of you…. RUN! Run very far and swiftly away.  Heal. Love. Find peace. Let your shine, shine so bright the monsters won’t dare come near. Blind them forevermore my darling.
