Grey ocean

I never knew a smile like yours would calm me down.

I was ignorant but it was my thought of you the only thing that mattered by the end of the dawn

With you, the silences were never embarrassing, they were rather comforting.
Those few moments that we had
Always feel like the ones i could live them again, a purgatory dream.

I always knew, we could never be a thing
But still, my mere thoughts of you were enough;
For me, to move ahead in those grey sands of the grey ocean.

I always knew, 'us' together was a lie
But I wait for you,
For you to hold my hand and never let me go.
