"Taking You There" (Little Mo Knows)

Be still, just you hush...
Be quiet, just you listen...
For many are times, so oft that it seems...
When words say nothing...
Of all that I mean.

So please, lie serene...
And see, just you see...
Where the real never leads...
To that moment in dreams...
When a soul for once can be free.

Now hush...while I play you...
And hush...while I pull you...
Away from the fixed...
And away from the sure...
To a long-ago station that Angels endured.

With still smoothness you'll know...
From an abyss you'll know...
Of the longing, and aching...
And the pleasurable torment...
Only a mind can put to a soul.

And then...won't you ask me...
Oh yes...won't you beg me...
To give you a moment of real.
Stay hushed my sweet Angel...
Just dream my sweet Angel...
This charming of dreams that I feel.

About this poem

"Hush"! Such a soft and yet powerful word. A soft sound with exhaled breath. Gently it quiets you, it sooths you. Not the harsh words like "Shut-Up!!!!"
