Killing trees

The branch fell from the tree on the way,
The branch weeps and says, O Mother
Does happiness lies in this.

The tree laughs and says, O my child
Don't be impatient.
I have given you as a gift, to the human race
Bless you Karmavir.

There are also so many delicious fruits-
When they are satisfied with them,
I am successful in that.

The branch understands all,
Staying silent but looking for-
Alas true happiness!

But why are they
Whenever get a chance
Looking forward to killing the tree?
