Winters Wind

Pete 1996 (New York)

Wind blows cold,
Heart warms - mold
Love for you observed
Life with you minus the nerves
Loves a drug
My new addiction - beautiful curves
So lifted
So gifted
Next level it’s like a mission
Next musician
So ambitious need an audition
A perky smile and face
Keep up the pace; it’s a new addition
More ambition got the admission to start the ignition
Heart found in rough condition
Your touch- permission = yes
Smoke less take less feel more
Reality seems a bore right down to the core
Tears used to pour
Rivers in site- ignore
Last Chance = too advanced -sisters galore
I look up to like what I could have been.
Now it’s all said and done
But I’m far from finished,
It’s a dash , focus on the love not the cash
Put behind the past,
Times now go have a blast
Forever blessed and stuck on the right path.
One I choose will lead to less wrath ,
I know cause I done the math,
Yet that comes with it’s own perks and flaws, even the infinite laws always seem to bend the walls
