I Think

Agaba Witness 2998 (Rukungiri)

I think of it if we had a home
Of our own, you and I there alone;
I think of it holding you in my arms
With your own around my neck;
I think of it looking in your eyes,
Greeting me with your costly smile;
I think of it bending to kiss your lips
Closing your eyes heels off the ground;
I think of it composing our first born,
Curious of being dad and mum;
I think of it yapping and laughing,
You and I in our self-built home;
I think of it reading this again,
Remembering how it all began;
I think of nothing, O dear friend,
Nothing but a Happiest Home.
