Thous Enchantment

The hidden shadows of silent sirens
within the fog rings her voice
to lure the group of teeming ships.
There she sees the lonesome pirates
lest they forget their goal of gold, seeking in the depths of the ocean.

Dare they seek the treasured ocean?
They wouldn’t want to anger the sirens.
Although, they insist they need their sailors gold,
she shakes her head and unleashes her voice,
they dig their graves, those mindless pirates,
and behold the whisper of once sailing ships.

The cracks and splinters of those ships,
pieces of wood fall into the vacant ocean.
The homes of storytelling by once happy pirates,
but alas they fall to the mercy of sirens.
The enchanting call of her everlasting voice
rings like a bell in the echo of gold.

Pieces to hold, the old sailors gold,
for she sees beyond young cargo ships.
She cranes her neck, considering her voice,
hesitation lurks within the waters of her ocean.
But why? She, too, is part of the sirens.
Perhaps it is she who is enchanted by pirates.
