The smell of blood

She smells of love

I sense it whenever I enter the room
And eyes couldn’t ever capture her beauty
to really see her, you would have to feel her
smell her
hear her
I sense her standing six feet away

As i get closer, I begin to hear her, before she even speaks
She does not have to speak for me to listen
I hear the music she plays when she smiles
When I see her eyes i feel her whys
When i hear her voice, i taste her poise
she blinds my ears, warms my sight,  opening windows, portals, doors that stop at greenlights
She makes the sun dark and the fish fly
the lilies sing, and gravity defy

Is everyone else really that blind?
do they not hear her? see her? feel her the way I do?
Does *he*?
Why does she sing to him, and not me?
Why does she see him, and not me?
Who will listen to me? even just when I simply speak

maybe only i can taste words, and hear smiles
maybe only i can, feel stars, see the cries
maybe only i can smell love.
