Solus Et In Dolore

Solus et in Dolore:

Hear the songs in my head.
Notice the rhythm of my breathing.
See the trembling of my legs as i leave this bed.
Feel the coldness of my skin in this winter season.
I do not dawn a coat for i deserve none.
I tremble from the pain unwelcomed.
My breathing becomes shallow from anxiety. Nightmares. All leeching my life and blood.
The songs in my head are no celebration. Tis' songs of agony. Does my time near?
All that i've cherished and all that i've loved dusted away through my hands.
Heart rate slowing. Thump. Thump.

About this poem

This piece is inspired by the agony and pain i have gone through. The events that pass by my life have no positive effect and therefor breed no solace. I lie dormant as pain subsumes me. The amount of things that i have loved have all dissappeared and left me for pain. All that i have worked for has been stripped away. Here i lie in pain.
