Norman

Happy Birthday Norman,
I came with a cacti for you,
I will dance buck naked
in the living room

I will rub your birthday cake
All over my brothers face,
And put on mums slippers,
Whilst climbing up the fireplace.

I will sing ‘no more I love you’s’
at the top of my voice
and give you a present
that will never be your choice

I will sit and try
to make conversation with you
and you will smile at me
so over the moon.

But you see how odd a relationship is
Between daughter and dad
Its more colourful than sad

I will blow your candles out
And sing happy birthday
with love in my heart
And will never let your past keep us apart
