No trouble

Just because I’m quiet doesn’t mean I’m ok. I’m staying quiet so I’m not in the way.
I won’t be a burden, I won’t be a bore, no I won’t be a bother, I won’t be a chore.
Everyone has problems, I know this is true, I think problems aren’t as important as you.
So I’ll stay really quiet and I won’t speak a word
I’ll be a good friend, I’ll follow the herd,
I’ll be a kind daughter and a doting wife
I can keep this charade up for the rest of my life
What bubbles underneath is mine to bare, unless you ask me I don’t need to share
If I keep it inside me only I’ll know it’s there and maybe everyone will be happy without my problems to care.
They have problems of their own I hear them every week, I’m the wife, friend and daughter to who they speak,
They share their woes and troubles and I lend a listening ear, don’t worry for you I’ll always be here.
