Free verse
Walking so briskly
The old golf course
Grounds.
Carpet glistening white.
Better sometimes
The night.
Stars innumerable.
I need the space
Slower pace.
To line up
Thoughts now scrambled.
Job
Relationship
Health
Unforgiveness
Faith questions
Sin suggestions.
And this spot marvelous.
Even if only
The lower five links.
Make me think.
As chills seem
Welcome and helpful.
That Pontiac.
Only car in the lot.
City forgot.
