The rules keep changing

The rules have changed this world will settle in ruins and people will become more deranged, it's not like we asked for this mystic decade to be our last day in age but at least the feeling of shame hasn't left this game.
People are becoming colder than the cool draft over their shoulder and people feel less remorse for the ones who were forced to be bigger and pull the trigger.
We don't know when to lay it in because the new ones pain for the old ones sin.
Smoke your weed drink your wine, look at how we spend our time in our selfish divine.
