Son

AJ White 1966 (Maryland)

When I say, "I love you son".
With understanding I hope you hear me
The breath and depth
Of the words I've uttered
The feelings of me
I've dared to share with you
My son
Time has been taken
On you to reflect
From the moment I knew
The existence of you
Until now and continued counting of minutes
Our walk through time together
Moments
Both bad and good
With pain and joy
You'll always be 'My boy'
Now a Man
Just me and my thoughts of you down memory lane
Frequently walk
To have seen and seeing you grow
Has and does well my heart
Arriving at:
I'll always
Love You My Son
