Word of honor

Serenity isn't eternity…
Life is short…
Worthless memories...
Are meant to be forgotten...
Why have you forgotten me...
When will you see...
The sun never burns...
Ice is cold...
Can you tell I'm sad...
Happiness is vague...
Where is my soulmate…
Courage remains hidden...
Have you forgotten me...
How can the night turn blind...
Have you lost your sight...
You never see me...
How can my wings grow...
When you're holding my wings...
These stones are thrown at me…
Happiness is vague..
Words can't be remembered...
I've removed my soul...
Can a soulless person love another...
Where's my soulmate
Carry my heart...
Bury my lost love...
Let the memories wither...
Like the flowers in winter...
When spring comes...
Will you wait for me...
Heaven knows, I'm blind...
Tell me, are you ashamed...
To love someone like me...
Can you tell if my words are not lies…
Where can I find my happiness…
It's my word against theirs...
Which will bring you honor...
That's a question for heaven...
I have become indebted to myself...
Been merciless, but pray for kindness...
Happiness is vague..
Heaven mocks not us…
Have you seen me cry…
Where's my soulmate...
Happiness is vague...
Words are never said…
The truth is in your eyes...
Heaven mock not us...
Where is my soulmate...

About this poem

It is a short poem about a woman who feels that her soulmate is a woman too. The poem is very descriptive, it is not straightforward. The woman's soulmate seem to be hesitant about this whole situation, trying to forget the woman by running away. The woman embarks on a journey to find the one she feels is her soulmate, going against the world. She believes her word will bring her honor.
