The rain begins to ease,
The mist begins to clear,
A new year and a soul passes,
A heavy burden hard to bear.

A family pulls together,
A family rebonds and grows strong ,
We pick up all the pieces ,
Stick them all together,
Get back to normal and move on.

His soul is gone but not forgotten,
Like all before and more to come,                           His spirit now free of pain,
Moves within us calm and warm.

His hand firmly on our shoulder,
When hard times fall our way,
Turns our face to the warm breeze,
His face etched in the suns ray.
