The Void Within

There is somewhere in the abyss
Of this impuissant heart
That chasmic emptiness.
It is latent,
Yet terribly unforseeable.
It is that void
Where all our intuitions and instincts
Are at an apodictic impasse.
The void's Stygian darkness
Paves the way for a seraphic luminescence,
The extremity where we get a glance
Of our subconscious mind.
That chasm is very intense,
Cavernous silence prevails there.
The soul has to pass through a sundry of whorls
To eventually uncover a door
Across which lies the hint
To unravel the intricacies
Of the complex human psyche.
The spirit gets ennobled,
Life seems no less than a utopia,
'Nirvana' is consummated.
