STUCK IN

Areeba Fayaz 2006 (Khyber pakhtun khwa Mardan)

I'm crying not because I'm tired
But because of all I am today.
Because of the state of my mind
Because of the condition of my heart.

Because of the pain that I hide behind my teeth, under my lashes and in the storeroom of my heart , that I have locked.

I locked the pain for somedays thinking it will die, because of the lack of oxygen and soon I'll be free.
But I was wrong,  I'm wrong and maybe I'll be wrong forever because that griefe and pain breaks all the locks and crack the walls of that room everytime I lock it up.

My heart starts to bleed
My mind mind starts to please
My lips starts to beg
My lashes become wet
My eyes become red.

In the darkness of the room, I lay like a sculpture made of griefe.
Talking to my lord begging for relief.
