One day

One day,
I will be able to look at the sky,
And say "I did it"
One day,
I will rock on my chair and tell stories to my grandkids
I will be watching my people from the sky

There's a time where your eyes shut
A time where skies don't seem clear

But
One day you'll have a spouse by your side
One to look after
One to treasure

You'll ask,
Did I treat my people right?
Did make sure all the people that helped me, were they rewarded for fighting for me?

Is it worth it to spend your life chasing money?
Is it worth it being rich but alone
Or is it better to be broke and happy?

One day your are going to die.
One day it will not matter
Will you be missed?
What legacy did you leave?
Were you Gods faithful servant?
Life is a marathon not a sprint
