Hope

Alas!
The wails of Fatherland
I  weep over you land
I weep for you, Father
I weep for your toils
I weep over your drilled dreams
I weep over the lives sacrificed
For your sake oh land!
Oh Father! the land delivered
From strong men has become
A place of ruin, a ring of beasts,
A dungeon of cracked bones,
A pit of blood and a charade.
Huddled with a quest for
Autonomy, knowledge failed
You to descry that you'll
Redeem to release to politicides
And genocides. Perhaps you
Envisaged not a terrocratic!
I meant demoncratic!
Democratic society I meant to
Say; where democide has worn
A crown. Though in obscurity, I
See hope. A land purged and sane
Where children will again be children
Men again be men, not predators.
Only a course of time, then we shall
Hear and see the rising of Fatherland.
