Omitted Words

Sean^45 2000 (Limpopo)

Unsavory days with you have been rather strange
Wrote couple of letters to you, ended with ashes
How could i master the courage to say what I think?
Do you even trust a word i say, or its all a game?
Forgot how nice it is to look into your eyes
That glimmer in your smile questions my honesty
confidence shaken down by every giggle you share
its a battle trying to hold kisses for your lips I yearn for
susceptible to every word shared, I find myself staring
could never have the courage to say the words I want
Needed to hear your voice just to get up
Wills of a speechless men I have come to know
cheers of a mute man i cherish to their full extent
Beauty seen by a blind man i have appreciated
Yet noise heard through deaf ears, i disapproved off
Its never one with your voice on it, not one of melody
All i wanted was to fall for you without barriers
without the complications of our apart worlds
love of comics we share and hoped more could come
life took a turn when all my bad decisions came back
you want peace i could never understand or give
all i can ever promise is a bit of drama and crazy fun

About this poem

This was written when all the things in the world mattered less but those on the page like when a day comes and you feel so closer to a story than u actually do to the reality you have come to accept as reality as reality its just way too painful and you start to hope your fantasies come true and yet your own mind betrays you by reminding you of the past and the reality you tried to escape …
