Second Wave

I sat at the corner of my bed awaiting your reply.
The phone buzzed and as I looked down at it, a second
wave of love washed over me. I never understood why a dorky
text message from you could trigger such a thing, but it did and
what a sensation it was. It wasn’t even a phone call or a voice mail, I hadn’t
even heard the sound of your voice in my ears, but I’ve fallen in love with you
once more.
