Warriors They Surely Are

They are warriors
But they use not swords;
They know their weapons
Be concepts and words.

When a race and society tumbles
And the organized structure crumbles
They stand ready to fight
To turn back the night
In which many a being stumbles.

Not dreary day
Or pitch-black night
Can dissuade them from their task.

Where councils falter
And armies flee
It is then their help you will ask.

Days cannot be abundant enough
To halt their power
Or contain their full knowledge and wisdom.
They do not balk and will not lag.

The time has come.
No challenge can they meet
Which stays their march,
Their ceaseless quest
To unfetter a world
One man at a time;
To better a world
That is yours and mine.

To these warriors
We sing our praise
While they incessantly work
To bring the light.
