Wind Beneath My Wings
Wind Beneath our Wings
For 67, 65, and 61 years you nurtured us, loved scolded taught and let us grow.
On Jan 21 we painfully had to let you go.
You taught us at an early age the word of Jesus Christ, you laid out a blueprint for
us to follow throughout our life.
You were there when we needed you for a laugh, cry or hug. No matter what the
problem, you made it better with your love.
There were times in our early years
When things were sometimes hard, but we never heard you complain, instead we
heard you often call out Jesus ‘s Name.
You were known by many names through the years and you best believe you wore
them well
Mother, friend, granny, wife, aunt Prince, princie, Ms. McKenzie and such,
everyone had their name for you, but it has always been just MOM to us.
We are who we are because of who you were, A Godly phenomenal woman full of
dignity and grace, you never buckled under pressure, you walked at your own
pace.
You loved the Lord with all your heart. Praised him every day, when we asked you
how you were "The Lord will take care of me is all we heard you say"
You had the sweetest disposition a real class act, there is no one out there that could ever dispute that.
Your smile was warm and welcoming, your laughter had such a sweet melody
You were the greatest Blessing to Jerry, Gloria Angela an Me
You instilled in us to Trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our own
understanding ,to trust and call on him when life gets too demanding.
Your work her is done, now with the Angels you will sing
A Phenomenal woman,
Our mom our Queen
You were are and forever will be the wind beneath our wings.
