Sow It Is

Great is our God and mighty is He!
Nothing’s too hard for Him!
He calls what is not as though it is
And sow it is! And so, it shall be!

You gave me your daughter
To take as my wife
And with her arrival
Begins a new life
Virginia is the state I’m in
From her will come my closest kin
I love you more than I can say
I hope you’ll never go away

The nations still do as they please
The leaves are changing on the trees

The gratification of my own flesh
Has NOTHING to do with true pleasure!
