Windowpane thoughts: Soul in Infinitment

An infinity in the palm of my hand

Eternity in the breath of my lungs

History! within heart, Blakk as thought

Original soul, my being whole

Understand the me within

Soul in Infinitment

Magnificent being

I.”

A E Hi O U Sorry Meant I.

About this poem

This poem was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's 'An Acrostic'. When I read the poem for the first time, I felt a sensation, a sense of longing, a kind of craving if you will, to resonate with him. I wanted to speak my heart's whispers in the form of a mathematically structured expression. It is a representation of my beliefs; that the soul is infinite in nature, an embodiment of man's multilayered state of consciousness.
