William Shakespeare

Will I contrast you with a late spring's day?

Thou craftsmanship more beautiful and more mild:

Harsh breezes really do shake the sweetheart buds of May,

Furthermore, summer's rent hath really quite short a date;

At some point too hot the eye of paradise sparkles,

Also, frequently is his gold appearance dimm'd;

Also, every fair from fair at some point declines,

By some coincidence or nature's heading in a different direction untrimm'd;

However, thy everlasting summer will not blur,

Nor lose ownership of that fair thou ow'st;

Nor will demise boast thou wander'st in his shade,

At the point when in everlasting lines to time thou grow'st:

  Inasmuch as men can inhale or eyes can see,

  So lengthy lives this, and this gives life to you

About this poem

Men can and this gives life.
