Why is it so hard to share stuff?

Namrataa Mamgai 1998 (Chaukhutia)

Why is it so hard to share stuff?
Just talk it out and smoothen the roughs...
Why so much comfortable to write it down?
Calming the psyche and letting it all out,
Why can't I just give up all my bluffs?
Why is it so hard to share stuff?

Maybe I am just scared,
Scared that it will show too much of me...
But deep down I know there is nothing to see...
It's damn hard to find what there is to hide,
Is it my conscious made up,
Or just some slimy memories on hinds...
Cant I just scream out loosening that choking cusp?
Why is it so damn hard to share stuff?

Maybe it's just the pressure of being judged,
It frees when I hold it all inside...
Putting on a plain cloak riding on lies...
But at last, everything just runs in my brain,
I might be an overthinker pulling some games
Lying around having nothing much to do,
Playing a game of when where and who?
Maybe with the world, I just had enough,
That's why it's so hard to share stuff...

About this poem

It is a poetic sabbatical of my conflict between to speak or not speak. Very known quality of people pleasers to hide as much of their actual emotions as rising conflicts. It is a poem about my inner conflicts on sharing stuff.
