Walls of the Wrecked Mansion

The sound of our laughs still goes on like the waterfalls
In those wall, our skins embodied the touch tattoos and
Our lips regrets words left unspoken,
Our minds forgot who we are and parted,
Our hearts broke.

We were just kids, we sat there listen to those stories
But, I was lost in the world of two ways me and you,
I saw heaven in that mud, the sand was like the stars
And, we were like two birds flying in that clear sky.

Yet, life parted our fates, I wish I saw your face in my dreams
Did I retain any memory of your face,
At least, I can recall the glamor in that shadowed house
With those paintings.

We watched the other kids play like ghosts
Ceased to live and we seized the moment
Our ending was predictable, like in movies

You knew we would be parted
That the clouds would be faster than me
And that the moon would move too on that day
But, you never said a word.

I still return to that house, the one we used to play in
Before they painted it white and before we were tainted
Into cyberself globe

Do you still see our villainess at least?
Because I do
I can hear the change in color
Since your colors spoke.

Those walls in the unpainted mansion
Kept our faults, once they speak, that is when
I will see you again.

About this poem

I wrote this poem because I felt nostalgic of my old friend, who used to be my neighbour but they moved to another place with his family.
