The Blue Spider Lily

Starting upon the black
A blue spider lily stood,
Amidst the Nowhere
Yet it didn't seek,
Even being the core of the room.

Warmly, you held
Welcoming affection towards;
Even in the darkest
Comforting, you stood
Aura so soothing;
I'd always bear with bliss

About this poem

The poem is about a friend i met unexpectedly but now they're a important part of my life. It describes this person's personality who gives out this welcoming, warm aura which is so comforting. Even though they're like the blue spider lily in the dark for me, they don't stand out or seek for attention but they'd always be affectionate to everyone. So calm that it seems they're angry but they'll never be.
