Sorry Dear Woman

Sorry dear woman....!

Has he deserted
you, Maliciously ....?

Oh...no...but rather he
Keeps me maliciously.....!
.........................................?
Allows me no joy
Allows me no freedom
Allows me no peace
But keeps me for himself
Maliciously ......!

There's no such ground
In this holy book of law
As malicious detention
But, malicious desertion .....?
Is he impotent ....
You ..know...I mean...
inept ....Sexually..?

Oh no...but rather he
Seems too potent for me
His grips too harsh
His desires too rash
I find me impotent
any more to bare.....!
...................................?

Committed do you think
He...adultery ..?

I wish he did....!
But..no ....I don't ....!
Cos, no woman On earth
Should suffer the same ....!

Sorry....dear woman
You find no ground...!
But stay...and perform
The duty you pledged
Upon holy books.....!

I feel no love...
I get no care.....
nothing we do share
Too hard my part everywhere.

Never admired....
But frowned and stared....
My beauty never seen
Condemned I so mean.

My body, aches with pains
My life, tied hard, by chains
My heart, cracked and broken
All  my dreams are stolen....!
Do you say still
I find no grounds.....?
Do you, sir,  really mean
these books are
Holy , fair and discreet?

About this poem

The poem is regarding a woman in need to get divorced , in a country where the related law is rigid and culture is discriminative towards the gender. In example, the existing law specifies that , adultery/ sexual impotency / malicious desertion arebthe only three grounds upon which a divorce case can be filed, otherwise , one cannot get divorced. That too, must be sufficiently proved , if no mutual agreement us there between spouses to divorce. People suffer, specially women. .due to the fact, specially , mentally.
