sinking time in writing me an eulogy...

wasma 2001 (islamabad)

How considerate would it have been.
If you had been sympathetic while I was still breathin'

If only WE could make some memories to haul me past the pain
I wouldn't have indebted you with writing me a eulogy AGAIN!!

unfortunate it is, but you’re also to be blamed for the demise of that rose ,
you placed in the coffin
heartfelt letters earlier would have been better than eulogies, you write so often

haven't you gotten used to of showing up on these occasions
you still blame divinity and not yourself for scathing your elation

you pricked another life to serve as an apology!
you shouldn't have sunk time into writing me an eulogy

it won't matter not to me, not the casket nor even the barren sand
that rose would have looked better in my desolate hand

while I was still breathin....
