Shut Off

Jeanie 1982 (Misamis oriental)

                     Shut Off
                        Jeanie

I got a knife stucked on my chest
And its pretty devastating
All i want is a secure state and place
But my heart cries and screaming

If you say that love is patient and kind
Why mine is harsh, impatient and undefined?
If you say love is a beautiful exciting feeling
Why mine inside is shaming?

If you say the most beautiful moment freeze when you are with your love,
Why mine is rushing and his eyes irritates everytime he got me in his sight?

If you say connecting and talking is one symbol of being in love?
Why mine shutts me off, hates me when i utter a word and leave?

If you say love connects, confide and listens
Dont fool me, mine disconnects and hurts me in the end
If you say love i write this because im hurt
Youre not right, i just put these things to my head.

I will shut off
I will back off
I am done and full
I need to shut my door

Dont give me the basis
It only make me feel true love doesnt exists
