In my previous life
I had married you
That shiny golden ring
Gently on your finger I laid

Yes, I was the man
My slim brown skin tuxedoed
Your soft hands into mine
Goodness, finally at the altar

Darling I took you home
Behold, my wife indeed
"Ernesto have your eyes"
You turned and giggled as I whispered
