Nigeria, my country

Nigeria

Nigeria
And in Africa,

A country of diligence,
A country of honour,

A country of peace,
A country of value,

In the third largest continent
Nigeria

Although there are few lapses we can revamp
A wonderful place where there's nothing called racism
Something called respect

Fertile soil
Best of all

A land of great icons in works diligent
We hail that our great and revered black nation, our land of human redemption

God arise and take your place as sovereign Lord.
Enthroned thyself in Nigeria's seat of power

Make her edicts and laws the eternal word
Let her justice prevail in her courts by the hour

A place you can acclimatize to
With different tribes and cultures

United we stand
Divided we fall
A spectacular country
