My greatest nightmare

Being a child
I felt safe with you
Trusting innocently
But you made me grow up
You molested me
When you were supposed to protect me People thought I was safe with you
They never knew you were my greatest nightmare
Don't tell anyone you said
Keep quiet, you said
All this I did for fear of the unknown
I was too young to know better
You took advantage of an innocent child Even after these time,
I am still being hunted by my past
I still wake up at night with so much fear and pain
All because of you
How do I forgive
How do I let go of my greatest nightmare
