Friendship
Ismail Sadiya 2005 (Nigeria)
A friendship so real,
Didn’t think I would find
Through the dark secret I kept
Locked in the deep part of my heart;
You came as both ease ease and comfort,
To a soul that longed for affection
So glad I gave this friendship a chance;
Through which hurdles were broken,
And pains were longed gone
While happiness thrived its way through,
You were like a sunshine on my cloudy days,
A companion with which journeys would be magical
Every moment with you came with no regrets;
As I look forward to many more instants
A real you truly are.
