wonder and forget

i’ve gone so long just wondering.
and wondering.
and wondering.
and then i forget what i was ever wondering about.
i forget what i didn’t know, i forget why i didn’t know it, and i forget why i wanted to know it.
it’s peaceful.
not wanting anything, just being.
but the reason i forget the little things is because of the big things that i forget with them.
the things that i force myself to forget, because i would rather lose my sense of being than think about them.
sometimes ignorance really is bliss.
sometimes you have to feel empty to feel full.
forget the things you never wanted to remember.
because even if it means losing those wants and things that you feel make you human, it also means knowing what its like to not have those things on your mind.
