Slow Dancing In the October Rain

She is like a feather
that flows thru the air
never touching the ground
but always in the sky

As she stares up at the clouds she closes
her eyes
while the drops of water slowly
run down her face

She dances while the sky sings
the world watches her thru the looking glass
of fall
the orange leaves slowly blow away
as her hear sinks deep
 
the colorless world she's in
doesn't seem to understand her colors within
she dances without care she dances with understanding

The October rain is filled up with nothing but color and love as was she while I laid my finally rose in her grave
