Sight

Walking? a few. Pace? a new.
Rhythmic and light like a wrist watch worn tight,
Quiet like a owl's flight, challenging even an assassin's might,
For when dark is my only sight.
But my nevers aren't in plight.

This course is calm but still I feel light.
For some reason every question's answer is flight.
Feels like asking an object is it wrong or right.

Life is dear in which the only sight I could hear,
What time is here, for I see a thing light doesn't go near,
Ringing sounds with sights carving the form of fear.

In new found light to control the darkness in sight,
Struck the one devoid of light,
Felt nothing in my grasp, as I lost the will to fight,
It's drapes just moved over my sight,
I closed my eyes as I lost the new light, not willing to see what's beyond my sight.
