I HAVE COME BACK

I have come back to the village my mother’s land

Looking over the horizon I will be full of memories that never die

I have come back to the bluish green distance the woody smoky smell which always rise from an invisible mouth saturating this immediate land

The nights filled by the beating of drums and the songs
 when it is moonlight

after the meal I will shy away from a song calling me to go in two like caterpillars
immaturely unborn fearing the pleasure in the moonlight dance

When it is noon
I will school in town
till I run after the trails which ends where it always started
Precious my dear
If only I had an art to love
I would wonder the whole world like a maying goat till I hold you in my thirsty fingers
